Kristi Kaplan – Kristi Kaplan has been a pleasure to work with in the First Grade. She is a dedicated teacher with high expectations for herself as an educator. Kristi has the ability to bond with her students through communication and understanding. Obstacles become challenges for her. You have attended each meeting to translate, but your impact goes beyond that. Your warmth and friendly disposition have established positive relationships and makes parents feel welcome. Thank you. I am sure that many others would say the same or greater things about her work. Mrs. Meier, keep up the good work. (Lisa Sigrist) Natica Wilson – I have had the honor of being Natica’s mentor this year! I have had the pleasure of seeing her “in action” and she is an awesome teacher! Most of all, thank you for having faith and taking a chance on me. I truly feel like I have the best job in the world, and it’s because I know that I always have your support. You’re the Best. (Rachel Veach) Jill Hohlbauch – Buckets and Buckets of drops go to Jill for or all the extra work and time she spent helping us get the grade cards ready to print. This is so appreciated, Jill. You are one patient lady! Thank you. We appreciate all you do. (Nancy Mathias) Amanda Kessler – One day I was in a panic after school trying to find my keys. Amanda and her girls were ready to leave school but they stopped to help me search all over for them. I certainly appreciated her help. (And yes, we found them in my desk drawer) (Debbie Hall) Tina Andrews – I would like to nominate Tina Andrews for a Golden Bucket. She is an outstanding member of our staff. Not only is my room clean every morning when I walk in, but when I see her in the hallway, there is ALWAYS a smile, high-five and a greeting! She takes great pride in her work in our school district and is always willing to help. I work different extra-curricular events, and if there is ever anything I need, she is there to assist me (or anyone else) at those events. Her positive attitude is infectious. Thanks, Tina. (Jill Randell) Kim Smith – Thank you for being so tolerant of my craziness this past month. (Tammy Smith) Nancy Mathias – I was sick for two days and that left Nancy managing the office by herself. Along with all of her own work to do, she had my daily attendance in folders with notes about the absences. That was such a Big Help when I returned. Thank you. (Debbie Hall) Andy Easton – Thank you, Andy, for all your time spent monitoring the parking lots for us! You always have a smile and a greeting for us each morning. Buckets of Drops to you! (Nancy Mathias) Pam Kutz – Thank you for always finding a way to help us with what we need. You definitely help our program run more smoothly. (Tammy Smith and Debbie Vargas) Brianne Miller – Brianne is new to 2nd Grade this year and not only is she doing a fantastic job, but she has great ideas that she is more than willing to share. She cares so much for her kids and is always so energetic and enthusiastic in her teaching. As a teacher and parent (she has my son, Zach) I am thankful for all her hard work and dedication. (Jenni Butler) Tisha Dow – Tisha comes in every morning with a smile and always has something to say that makes me laugh! Thanks, Tish! (Lori Vandeveer) Ronda Hodge – I would like to nominate Ronda for all of her time, effort, dedication and patience with the 1st and 2nd graders in preparation for their Christmas Program. My hat is off to you. What an amazing job. As a parent of a student in the program, it was great to see the smiles on each student’s face as they performed. Diann Graham – I would like to nominate Ms. Graham for a Golden Bucket award. Ms. Graham is an amazing woman who inspires others to showcase their talents, even when they don’t think they have any. Our students are blessed to have a teacher who is dedicated to the performing arts! The Greatest Show in Arcola is the BEST talent show anywhere, thanks to Ms. Graham. (Lisa Sigrist) Joan Kellog – Mrs. Kellog deserves a drop because she keeps trekking along with great spirit, despite continuous challenges that could otherwise distract her. I admire her perseverance. (Angie Gentry) Lyn Maxwell – No one is aware of all the work that goes with the accounting side of the district’s finances. Lyn has been responsible for creating accounts, inputing changes for insurance and payroll, and anything else thrown at her. She does so diligently and always with a professional attitude. - I would like to nominate Mrs. C. She made sure that
one of our younger high school students was able to get into the
Arcola playoff game. AND she made sure that while this student
was watching the game, he was able to have something to eat.
That is such a testimony to how much the administration and the
