Electing Remote Learning
The Arcola School District recommends that each student attend school in person during the fourth quarter. But, the district also respects that each family can make the choice of “in person or remote” based on what is best for their respective family. As a result, if you want your student(s) to attend school during the 4th quarter as a full-time remote learning student, you need to click on and complete the form below. You will be asked to agree to each remote learning expectation before being able to complete the form. You only need to complete the form if you are selecting remote learning. Please do so by Wednesday, March 10 at 3:00 pm.

If you want your student(s) to attend school in person during the 4th quarter, you do NOT need to complete the form. But as you are making your decision, please keep in mind that if you select in person, the student(s) must remain in person the entire quarter unless:
1) A district team, which includes the parents/guardians, has determined that a student needs a full-time home accommodation due to a medical disability. Written documentation will be required.
(2) A student has been required to self-quarantine by the school, the CDC, IDPH, the local county health department or by a health care provider for a specific period of time.

Elección del aprendizaje remoto
El distrito escolar de Arcola recomienda que cada estudiante asista a la escuela en persona durante el cuarto trimestre. Pero, el distrito también respeta que cada familia puede elegir entre "en persona o remotamente" según lo que sea mejor para su respectiva familia. Como resultado, si desea que su(s) estudiante(s) asista(n) a la escuela durante el cuarto trimestre como estudiante de aprendizaje remoto a tiempo completo, debe hacer clic y completar el formulario a continuación. Se le pedirá que acepte cada expectativa de aprendizaje remoto antes de poder completar el formulario. Solo necesita completar el formulario si está seleccionando aprendizaje remoto. Por favor hágalo antes del miércoles, 10 de marzo a las 3:00 pm.

Si desea que sus estudiantes asistan a la escuela en persona durante el cuarto trimestre, NO es necesario completar el formulario. Pero mientras toma su decisión, tenga en cuenta que si selecciona en persona, el estudiante(s) debe permanecer en persona durante todo el trimestre a menos que:
1) Un equipo del distrito, que incluye a los padres/tutores, ha determinado que un estudiante necesita una acomodación en el hogar de tiempo completo debido a una discapacidad médica. Se requerirá documentación escrita.
(2) La escuela, el CDC, el IDPH, el departamento de salud del condado local o un proveedor de atención médica le han exigido a un estudiante que se ponga en cuarentena por un período específico.
