Today, six Arcola High School students and Mrs Phillips (Guidance Counselor) are attending the Future Teachers Conference at Illinois State University: Oden Barron, Braden Phillips, Hayden Gauna, Addison Mulligan, Isabella Spracklen and Carolina Torres."This conference informs and inspires students about the process of becoming a teacher, and what to expect after graduation as they enter the classroom. Since its inaugural year in 2019, this conference has served nearly 2500 students."
Five seniors who attend the conference will win a $1,000 scholarship.
