Area High School students and their parents can explore a wide variey of higher education options at the 2021 Regional College Fair, Wednesday, September 15, 2021, 6-8pm in the Parkland College Donald C. Dodds Jr. Athletic Center. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Mrs. Klopfleisch worked with Creative Writing students to kick off a unit on poetry and lyrics. Students could choose from several stations- from reading poetry and lyrics, to creating poetry by blacking out words from old book pages.

The communities of Arcola and Tuscola came together Friday night for the Cola War's football game, but they also came together to Tackle Hunger and help the Eastern Illinoi foodbank. Together, we raised enough money to feed 1,320 people for a day! Here is the breakdown: Tuscola: $410.12 in monetary donations. Arcola: $909.67 in monetary donations.

Arcola School District will hold in-house registration tomorrow from 4:00 - 7:00 PM, for anyone that does not have access to a computer or needs assistance with the online registration process. Please enter through the doors by the High School office. Online registration is still open also, so please be sure to get your student(s) registered for the upcoming school year as soon as possible. Don't forget to get your student(s) registered for the 2021-2022 school year. DON'T WAIT!!!!!!! Online Registration is open. Teacher Ease has made a few changes to the online registration process, so it will look a little different this year, but is just as simple to complete. Another item to note is if you wish to select iPad insurance through online registration you will be required to pay online with a debit or credit card. If do not wish to pay online you will have to come into the school to have iPad insurance added to your student(s) accounts and pay the $15 per student. * iPad insurance is only available for 7th - 12th grade students. Online registration will require an active account in Teacher Ease. Active accounts will require the same login that is used to check student grades. If an account has not been set up, please email Mrs. Hohlbauch jhohlbauch@arcolaschools.com and provide your email address, student(s) names, grade level(s), and what children should be linked together.
