Parents, I know some of you have heard that there is a winter storm heading our way out here in NYC. That is true. Right now I am on hold with Southwest Airlines, with the goal of finding out our options for our flight tomorrow. Worst case scenario: We don't get to fly home until Saturday. Best case scenario: We get out as scheduled on our 6:40pm flight. Somewhere in the middle: We fly out earlier than planned tomorrow. I will let you know as soon as I have more information. Meanwhile, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Southwest would not allow us to take off if the weather is too bad to fly. We've had another great day; I'll post photos as soon as I can (my phone is currently busy on hold). If we stick with our current flight plan, we will go to the 9/11 Museum in the morning, and revisit some places around Times Square and Bryant Park the kids want to hit one more time before we leave. Again, when I have news, I will let you know. Meanwhile... please do not worry! Sometimes the weather throws a kink in the plans. We'll roll with it and figure it out! - Miss Coombe

Our neighbors from the north have challenged us to see who sells the most Cola War plates. Since ours is purple and has 4 state title years on it, surely we'll sell more than they will. The winning town will be awarded a trophy at halftime of the game. Sales run thru March 3rd, so its time to get your order placed.
